More trouble for Wizkid!

Ayo Balogun, A.K.A Wizkid, seems to be finding a soft spot in the media this year. First it was a night club fight and now, it’s even something more controversial and messy. The father of one has tried so hard to distance himself from social media scandals, but recent events have shown that the pop star has been proved wrong. Earlier in the week, news broke that the pop star has another love child by a second baby mama, Binta Diamond Diallo who hails from Guinea, though Wizkid has not confirmed or denied the rumour about him having another child with his alleged baby mama, Binta Diamond Diallo. Wizkid and Binta Diamond Wizkid and Binta Diamond Sources close to Wizkid confirmed that his erstwhile girlfriend, Tania Omotayo, broke up with him recently, though both of them had a mutual understanding to remain civil and matured about the new development, all in a bid to avoid media scandals. Obviously, this is why she has kept her distance from the music star for sometime now. She even boycotted most of wizkid’s events. One of such events was his Industry Nite. Tania was on vacation to Dubai with her friends. Could this have been possible if they were still love birds? It looks like Wizkid has been caught in a web spun with his own hands. The news of his second baby mama seems to ring true. According to reports, the alleged baby mama, Binta Diamond and Wizkid have been in a secret relationship for sometime now. When she became pregnant they kept the relationship on a low key till she gave birth and shared the name of her son on her Instagram page. Surprisingly, she named the child after the star boy, – Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun – which is Wizkid’s exact first, middle and last names. Since the news broke out about Wizkid’s alleged second baby mama, the pop star has avoided the social media and has so far not officially confirmed or denied the rumour. Meanwhile, reports had it that Binta Diallo has made some new revelation regarding her new-born son. She was said to have explained why she intentionally named her son after the Afro-pop star, saying it was to avoid a repeat of the situation with Wizkid’s first baby mama- Oluwanishola Ogudugu. When Sola had the singer’s son in 2011, Wizkid repeatedly denied having any child until the evidence was too immense for him to run from. Binta, having learned from Sola’s experience, didn’t want to fall into such a media ordeal, and as such, chose to expose the fact that she had just given birth to Wizkid’s son. However, in a statement during the week, his management said, Wizkid hasn’t confirmed the news making the rounds that he has fathered another child. “Wizkid still hasn’t confirmed any news about him having another child. We know he is single and will be releasing his EP next month.” Wizkid alleged baby mama is said to be a Guinean model based in the United States. She has taken to her instagram page to release pictures of herself during pregnancy.”

Naijaloaded CEO ‘Makinde Azeez’ Has A Word For All Young Hustlers Striving To Become Great

Hello young hustlers,
I have a word for you all but before we proceed, permit me to explain the word “Hustler“.
The word “Hustler” has been widely linked to negative activities and fraudulent acts. Sincerely, Hustler means young mind striving to make ends meet and live a better life. You get now? 👍
Now, let’s get down to the real deal.
This life has a a process called “Stage” and sometimes, young minds striving to become great in life tends to get frustrated/oppressed when they see people ‘whether younger or older” doing better than them without thinking of how long and the sacrifices the person has invested into his/her business to get to where it is today.
You must be willing to start small… Those boys you see pushing Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, Porshe and many other expensive cars started with cars like Toyota Pencil, Honda EOD, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Honda Baby Boy and the likes.
Those guys you see living in a Mansion, they started from Face me I slap you, Self Contain, 2 Bed-room Flat and later move into their own Mansion.
Start small and Dream Big 😎
Don’t get Frustrated – Take it one step at a time. You don’t know them when they were still struggling to become somebody. You only knew or notice them when their trees started bearing fruits.
When I started Naijaloaded and my other businesses and was still praying to God to bless my Hustle, I sometimes get worried when I see young boys/men driving big cars and doing something amazing but I never get frustrated.
Most times, I go back home feeling down and bittered asking God when my own blessings will come 😩😩 … but I never thought of giving up.
Once I get home, I sit in front of my Laptop and work like it’s gonna be my last day on Earth. Sincerely speaking, am living far better than I prayed for now and I know God will do same for everyone of you striving to become great.
Stop asking yourself this kind of questions 👇
* When will I blow and become great in Life?
* Can my hustle/business fetch me enough money to buy this kind of Car or build this kind of a House?
No dream is too big not matter how small your Salary or Income is – If God wants it to happen, it will happen surprisingly and better than you expected. You just need to do your own part well by working hard and praying continuously.
I remember when I was driving my Honda EOD, I was saving seriously to get a Toyota Camry and then God in his mercy blessed me with a Venza and later to a Mercedes Benz and then many other lovely rides now.
Just keep moving! I have friends who started doing amazing things before me. I never felt bad then because I know everyone has his/her own time to flourish but God in his infinite mercy bestow upon me something more bigger than theirs..
Am not saying this to show off but to let you know that just because someone started doing something great or started making money before you means that person will be richer than you. Be happy for those God bless today because yours is coming tomorrow and might be bigger than theirs.
God bless only those who are truly happy for others when they achieve something great. Don’t feel pained, don’t feel bad, don’t feel bitter – Yours is Coming bigger pretty soon!
We all will get to the Promise Land sooner than we pray for and also make our Parents proud forever 🙏
Stay Humble no matter how fat your Bank Account is.
Your Life savings is someone else’s Breakfast budget – Stay fucking loyal.
Stay afloat you all.

BEING SINGLE IS NO DISEASE, SAYS DAYO AMUSA

Popular Yoruba actress, Dayo Amusa, who is fast becoming just as popular as a singer, is single and it appears this is not something that is giving her nightmarish nights if her recent post on social media is as good as anything to place a bet on. In spite of being in her thirties, being single doesn’t seem to scare the cherubic faced actress, as she made it known to her Instagram followers, advising them not to let being single make them live miserable lives. Dayo-Amusa “When did being single become some sort of disease that everyone wants to get rid of ? Why does everyone think that being in a relationship or married is superior to being alone?,” she queried and went into a lengthy rhetoric about the beauty of being single and not letting societal pressure get in the way of one’s happiness “ I don’t care if you’ve been single for several decades or several days. Remember, anything and everything is possible. You just need to get out of your own way and start believing that. Have standards – Don’t just date someone because you don’t want to be alone. You need to have the mindset that anyone who doesn’t want you is a fool, and so you wouldn’t want them anyway. Use this time to learn about yourself – Often, people use being with others as an escape, an escape from themselves. If you’re with others, then the focus is on them, not you. But how well do you really know yourself? Being single is a precious time that can be used to really get to know and love yourself. So spend the time getting to know you. Discover new things. Work on personal growth. Don’t chase anyone – And I mean it. Don’t even think about it! If they have to be chased, then they don’t want you. If someone is showing you that they would rather not be with you, shrug your shoulders and move on. It’s their loss not yours. Learn to love your own company and be focused – You’re awesome! You’re cool! If you don’t believe me, then you are wrong. Everyone is perfect in their own way. The problem is many people especially single people don’t believe it. Focus on your great job, wonderful friends, your health, your car, food on your table — you name it,” she narrated, posting a gleeful picture of herself.

I'LL BE MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN WIZKID, BOB MARLEY- SUGAR BOY

It has become a trend for desperate budding music acts to court media or public attention by
stirring the hornet’s nest at the slightest provocation to achieve fame and popularity. Sugar Boy

But for reggae-dancehall singer, Umoren Akanimoh Felix, better known as
Sugarboy, it is more of confidence and total belief in himself rather
than the desperate quest to gain stardom.

Speaking to Showtime in an exclusive chat, the fast rising singer who
has been able to carve an enviable niche for himself in a very
competitive industry boasted that he would be bigger than Wizkid, Bob
Marley and later become the biggest artiste in the world.

“It’s been a great year for me; particularly because it’s the year I
dropped my album and it’s the year I really got to be known. I’m
grateful to my label for that; it’s hard work and with God’s help I’ll
become the biggest music artiste in the world; not big like Wizkid but
big like the late Bob Marley by God’s grace”, he said.
Speaking further, he bragged of how big he has become in less than three
 years of breaking into limelight.

“The Sugar Boy brand has been growing since 2015; I was unknown before
2014 but since 2015 it’s been a growing brand, it’s not an overnight
thing. Sugar Boy is a force to be reckoned with; I’m the future, the
same way they saw Wizkid back in the day when Bank W asked people to
watch out for him, that’s who I’m right now, by God’s grace I’ll be a
music mogul in years to come.”

“The romantic encounter with an old flame,a never-to-be-forgotten adventure”

SANDRA, a fifty something lecturer recently recounted how a chance meeting with an old
flame turned a holiday that she thought would be hum—drummed into a
never-to-be-forgotten adventure. Her story:

“I would never have imagined that the next time I ran into Bolaji, it
would be on a plane en-route good old Britain. The last time I saw him
was over 15 years ago. We’d dated briefly after he’d relentlessly come
after me—with the whole works. Dinner, fancy presents and just sitting
down for stretches of amusing natters. In the end, we became lovers.
Love

I’d left my husband then and was grappling with a broken relationship.
Caleb, my lover of seven years, had just put up an appearance too, after
a period of wondering where he was. Simply put, life couldn’t be
better. Then, one fateful day, Bolaji was having a drink in my flat when
Caleb came. I was amused to see Bolaji sit up like a ramrod.

Caleb made his usual polite conversation, but it was obvious Bolaji
wouldn’t be hanging around for anything more friendly and was out of my
flat as soon as he decently could, telling me firmly not to bother to
see him off. I wondered if Caleb knew him but he obviously didn’t as he
asked if Bolaji wasn’t one of my colleagues as his face looked familiar.

I quickly agreed that he was. I didn’t hear from Bolaji for a long time.
Months after Bolaji had dropped me like a hot potato, I ran into him at
a filling station. It was on a Sunday and he drove himself. He’d got
out of the car looking good to eat in Barmuda shots. I was angry with
him, if anything, he owed me an explanation for his disappearing act and
I got out of my car to confront him.

“He didn’t look guilty. He looked as if I was a total stranger he was
trying to place.” ‘What happened to you?” I asked him. “How could you
have disappeared without a word?” “What do you mean?” he wanted to know.
“Did you think I could come to your place after running into my
chairman in your house?” he asked. His chairman? It was then he
explained that Caleb was the chairman of a political party’s committee
of which he was a member. “He was also one of our financial supporters.”

“He went on: ‘and I was just co-opted as a member of his committee when I
ran into him at your place of all places. Didn’t he recognise me? I
thought he would have told you who I was. I didn’t want any trouble, so I
stayed away. The way he looked at me, he was sizing-me up to see if I
would be a serious adversary. I just left and that was it.” That was the
last I saw of him until I saw him a few weeks ago ambling his way to
his seat on the plane en-route Britain.

I’d sat with a stuffy man in a suit who’d come with a bunch of national
dailies and had buried his head into one as soon as he settled in his
seats Bolaji, who now looked a bit rosy-checked and well, was pleased to
see me. “Travelling time flies if you’ve got a lively chatter-box to
keep you company. By the time we arrived Heathrow, he’d told me his
first grandchild would be christened the next day. Could I make it? What
about his wife? “I had this child before I got married,” he explained.

“I’ve booked myself into a service flat.” After, exchanging phone
numbers, we left. First thing the next day, he was on the phone giving
me directions on how to get to the venue of the naming ceremony—and he
insisted on my taking a cab. As I arrived the place, he came out to pay
the cab driver. By the end of the day I was at his service flat, feeling
as if we were on a first date all over again.

The friend I stayed with scarcely saw me as I was always with him
closing the I5-year gap between our first relationship. I was a bit
amused when he offered to come with me for a weekend with a friend that
stayed outside London. He would book himself into a bed and breakfast so
I needn’t worry about accommodation for him. My friend’s eyes nearly
popped out of their sockets when she saw him.

Thank goodness her husband is not a Nigerian or he would have wondered
at the number of ‘cousins’ I kept showing up with. Thanks to Bolaji, I
scarcely touched the holiday allowance I had with me as he happily
picked up most of my tabs. He even took my friend’s family to an
expensive restaurant on our last evening. When we left for London, I
simply moved in with him and by the time he left a week later, I’d had a
most mind-blowing holiday. He’d discreetly asked if I was still seeing
Caleb and I said yes. His eyes clouded a bit, but he shrugged.

“He made it clear he would never want to cross Caleb and I understood.
Why wouldn’t I? Apart from Caleb, my hands are definitely full. Where on
earth would I fix Bolaji when we got back to Lagos?

Giving him my little-girl-lost look, I told him I understood. He might
be alright in no-man’s-land, Britain; but I knew as a fact that he too
had a very ‘busy’ social life in Lagos. The phone never stopped ringing
in the flat when I was with him and there were times he’d promised
callers he would call them back. For now to him, I was a
‘matter-of-the-moment’ who needed all his attention.

By the time he left, the flat was still full of foodstuff brought in by
his daughter who seemed happy to be ‘friends’ with me. I bet it was to
get back at her step-mother whom she said she didn’t like. There were a
few days left until he handed over the keys to the flat to its owners so
I agreed to stay in the flat until his short lease ran out.

My friends were definitely happy to help me clear up the left-over grub
and booze in those few days! The rest of the holiday flew past with
trickles of news filtering in from time to time—news that were more
interesting than the one NTA dishes out every evening. Not surprising is
the fact that Nigerian parties were not as elaborate and adventurous as
 they once were.

Did I go to the wrong ones? Was it to do with the now over-used economic
melt down? Or, more realistically, was the proverbial age catching up
with all of us? As I got ready to team up with Maggie,an old Irish
classmate and a few others, to visit a few ‘scenes of the crime,’ I
wondered if we still had it in us to shake things up as we once did!”

Shina Peters grabbing my butt on stage wasn’t funny – Toby Grey

Born Tobiloba Mariam Adeyemi, delectable singer, better known as Toby Grey is poised to set a benchmark in her music career. Besides talent, creativity and determination, the pretty youngster is confident of her salt as an entertainer with class and panache. In this interview with Star Tracker, she bares it all.

How have you been able to withstand the industry’s pressure?
Truly it’s a lot of pressure because you have to consider so many factors and being a female artiste,  there are a lot of factors to consider. From your hair, to your makeup,
to the kind of song you put out, to wanting to stand out by doing
something different so that people can pay attention to you, it’s a lot
of pressure. The way I cope is knowing at the back of my mind that I
just have to put in my best regardless of the circumstances.

But just know that you are doing your best and put in your best, don’t
over-exhaust yourself. That’s what I do. I don’t try to milk myself too
dry and I have nothing because at the end of the day, you still need to
be able to satisfy yourself as well as satisfying the fans.

It is generally believed that artistes live for their fans, how true is
this?

It is not all artistes that live their lives for their fans, that is why
in the industry some artistes are considered rebels. Take Eminem for
instance. Eminem is someone that says whatever is on his mind regardless
of the consequences, not caring what anybody says at the end. So there
are artistes that don’t care what people say and there are other
categories of artistes that have to put up a front.

Again, I’ll say it is the circumstances in the industry because there
are times when you put out something that is original to you and out of
frustration that nobody is paying attention to you then you decide to do
something you think they would accept and when they begin to pay you
that attention, you are like ‘okay let me continue’.

So when you keep giving them those kinds of materials you are stuck, you
can’t really go back to the real you. If you get to a stage where
people love you already, regardless of what you do, then you are lucky

How would you describe your style of music?

In the past I used to say expressive afro-pop but right now I’m not shy
or scared to say I’m still trying to discover the word to categorize my
style of music. I just know that I’m a versatile artiste and I love
music and I love what I put out for my fans.

Aren’t you scared of being criticized for saying this?

As long as I know what I’m doing, I don’t think about someone thinking
that I don’t know what I’m doing, that’s the most important thing
because the moment you start thinking about that, you begin to show that
you don’t know what you are doing. That’s not even on my mind, it’s not
a concern for     me at all, and I’ll just keep doing my music. It’s
just the world, there are no rules. If you keep following the rules all
the time, you’ll just be like everyone. You’ll follow the band wagon and
nothing stands you out. So if at the end of the day they have something
to say about me, then I’m making waves.

Was there ever a time you felt like you shouldn’t have gone into music?

Yes, I’ve had times when I really cried and  told myself that maybe it
is time I left the country and probably get a 9-5 job or do 2-3 jobs and
just do something else or maybe stay in this country but do something
else apart from music because it just seemed like it’s not for me or
it’s not working. Mind you, it doesn’t mean I don’t believe in myself,
there are so many factors around it. I mean you get so overwhelmed with
everything that is going on and trying to process it, trying to soak it
in and you just breaks down.

What was it like working with 9ice and Skales on your  latest song
‘Konibaje’?

Working with other artistes opens your eyes to see that you are not the
only one that does this thing and then you learn different ways to do it
because at the end of the day, it’s not just music, it is also a
business. So, you have to learn so many things about it. Working with
them for me was very informing, I learnt a lot.

Many people think Skales is still struggling to find his feet in the
industry, do you also agree?     If you look at where he started from,
you will see that he is not in the same place. Every single person that I
met along the line has progressed, where they started from is not where
they are. Some people are either by the way, down below or up there.
So, it’s just how it is. People will keep advancing and I don’t want to
say much about his career because I’ve not really paid attention to his
career. So, even if people don’t feel like he has blown, it doesn’t mean
he’ll not get to where those people think he isn’t.

Do you still plan on doing more French songs like you did on ‘Love
Dosage’?

Yes, I do. I have plans to work with francophone artistes because I’m
planning on expanding my fan base. I already have some songs that I’ve
done with francophone artistes and I did a song recently titled
‘Applaudissez’. It’s partly English and partly French and I did that to
test the waters to see how people will respond and it has definitely
gained some buzz. I can’t really wait to share my French side with my
French fans. So I’m definitely doing more of French songs.

Whenever you remember Shina Peters grabbing your butt on stage three
years ago, what comes to your mind?

It’s in the past already. At that moment I felt embarrassed no doubt,
but I got over it after that day. I still replayed the scenario in my
head for about a week though because I just couldn’t imagine that it
happened to me, but after that I totally forgot it because he apologized
the day it happened. I got over it until everybody started to talk
about it again. Obviously something in my head went from green to red
that day; it wasn’t a fun experience so I can’t really say it had a
positive impact on how I feel about him.

You are in an industry with many successful female artistes, which of
them scares you?

Instead of something to scare me, I consider it a motivation. If I see a
lion running towards me to bite my head off, I don’t get scared, I get
motivated to find a way to kill that lion before it gets to me instead. I
prepare myself in defense mode to attack not getting scared because
when I get scared, there is no way it would not attack me and harm me.
The only being, the Supreme Being that I fear is God.

Is it true you did a cover of Kiss Daniel’s ‘woju’ to gain attention?

Doing a cover of a song is not such a big deal but I think mine was a
big deal because many people knew about it. I wouldn’t say I’m not glad
that I did that cover because it gave me quite a lot of attention.

You seem to be so much in love with your body, is that why you have so
much sensual pictures online?

Most of the sensual pictures you see online were wrong decisions from
when I was much younger in the industry and I had no clue of what I was
doing; everyone was doing a photo shoot and I just wanted to do mine. I
didn’t have an idea of how I wanted to look and I placed everything in
the hand of everyone around me, even those that didn’t need to be
involved. So the decision was not solely mine. I can’t defend it anymore because
those pictures are obviously mine; everyone is seeing me and not the
people that put them together. I don’t regret posting any of those
pictures because I learnt something from it and I don’t regret any
experience I learn something from.

THE SECRET OF GETTING A JOB AT GOOGLE

Google is one of the most desirable companies to work for on the planet. To find out how to get a job at Google, I spoke with William Poundstone, who is the author of Are You Smart Enough to Work at Google?. He is the author of twelve books, including How Would You Move Mount Fuji? and Fortune's Formula, which was Amazon Editors' pick for the #1 nonfiction book of the year in 2005. He has written for the New York Times, Harper's, Harvard Business Review, and the Village Voice, among other publications. In this interview, he talks about the hardest question that they ask you, how to survive each of the five interviews, and much more.
What is the single hardest question they ask you when interviewing at Google?
"What number comes next in this sequence: 10, 9, 60, 90, 70, 66…?"
This question is hard because you either see the "trick" or you don't. Nothing you learned in school is likely to help. Try spelling out the numbers—you'll see that they are in order of the number of letters in the word. "Sixty-six" has eight letters, so the next number must have nine. One possible answer is "ninety-six."

How many rounds of interviews do you have to go through and how many people survive each round?
Google applicants have about five interviews. The company's human resources people have given a lot of thought to that number. They believe in the "wisdom of crowds," so they want multiple opinions of each applicant. But they're done research and found little or no marginal value after five interviews. Normally every applicant goes through all five rounds. The only exceptions are the rare cases where a candidate is clearly unsuitable after the first couple of interviews.
What kind of intelligence do you need to solve the many puzzles they give you during interviews?
They want many types of intelligence. Google's interviewers try to design questions that test (1) whether you know your field of expertise; (2) whether you can apply what you know in an unfamiliar context; and (3) whether you can make "creative" leaps to arrive at a solution. Their best questions operate on all these levels.

How do you go about getting a leg up on the competition?

It's not just about getting a "right answer." They're interested in your thought process, and your whole explanation counts. Because these are difficult questions, the first answer or approach that pops into your head is almost always wrong.
That provides a way to get a running start on your answer: Explain to the interviewer how this "obvious" approach fails. You're expected to brainstorm various approaches, but make sure you tie it all together at the end. The last thing a technology company wants is someone who never brings a project to completion!
Who shouldn't apply for jobs at Google? Why?
Google is very clear about who it wants: extremely bright extroverts. The company is founded on intensive collaboration. This is reflected even in the office layout, with only a handful of private offices. (When employees feel an occasional need for privacy, they seek out an empty conference room.) The stereotypical engineer—someone who works best alone and hates distractions—is probably not a good fit.

Breaking: FIFA threatens to boot Spain out of World Cup

The governing body of  world football (FIFA) confirmed on Friday that it has written to the
Spanish federation (RFEF) warning they could be suspended form the 2018
World Cup because of political interference.
FIFA

Earlier in the day Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said Spain had received
“no such letter from FIFA.”

The issue centres on the RFEF presidency. Angel Maria Villar, who was
also a senior FIFA and UEFA official, resigned after being arrested in
July on suspicion of embezzling funds. Villar was replaced, on an
interim basis, by Juan Luis Larrea, another long-time football
administrator.

Even though he is only a stand-in, Larrea has made clear he wants to see
out Villar’s term, which was due to end in 2020. The Spanish National
Sports Agency (CSD) has objected and that prompted FIFA’s warning,
reported on Friday by the daily El Pais.

“We can confirm that FIFA recently sent a letter to the Spanish FA
(RFEF) expressing its concern at the current situation in the
association and reiterating that, under the FIFA Statutes, all member
associations must manage their affairs independently and ensure that
there is no interference by third parties in internal matters,” said a
FIFA statement.

“FIFA is in contact with the RFEF, and a joint FIFA-UEFA delegation will
be sent to Madrid shortly to monitor and assess the situation in the
association,” the statement continued.

The RFEF and the Spanish government insisted on Friday that Spain would
go to the World Cup in Russia.

“I just can’t see that scenario,” Rajoy said at a press conference in
Brussels. “I am absolutely convinced Spain will go to the World Cup, and
 will win.”

Rajoy said Spain’s sports minister had told him the Spanish authorities
had “received no official communication from FIFA but only a letter from
a member of FIFA requesting a meeting.” He said his government’s
attitude was “exemplary.”

Villar was re-elected for an eighth term as president last May. He had
run the RFEF for 29 years until his arrest on suspicion of creating a
network of corruption in Spanish football.

Last month, Luis Rubiales, the former head of the players’ union and an
ally of Villar’s put forward a motion of censure against Larrea with the
objective of becoming president himself. That motion is scheduled for a
 vote on January 16.

At the same time, the Spanish cabinet, acting on requests from the CSD,
demanded fresh RFEF elections because of irregularities in the vote last
May. FIFA sees this as external political interference.

I'M NOT COMPETING WITH PHYNO, OLAMIDE DECLARES

The change of venue from the Convention Centre of Eko hotel and Suites to the main bowl of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, for the 4th edition of Olamide’s annual music concert, OLIC, has since generated series of controversies which has gone viral since its announcement on all media platforms. The most prominent of all is that Olamide’s decision on changing the venue was borne out of the quest to surpass his fellow artiste and friend, Phyno, who has held two successful, sold out editions of his Phyno Fest concert at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, in Enugu.
However, in an exclusive chat with Showtime, Olamide explained the major reason for the change of venue.

However, in an exclusive chat with Showtime, Olamide explained the major reason for the change of venue. “I’m not competing with Phyno, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and I’m just living my own dream. I’m 100% excited because this is something I’ve been looking forward to for over three years now; it’s always been about doing it big, something beyond the ordinary, giving back to the people and spreading love. Eko hotel is good, we’ve done a lot of stuff there but bringing OLIC4 to Teslim Balogun Stadium is about telling people out there that this is Lagos and Lagos cannot be limited, we can achieve whatever we set out to achieve”, he said.

15 Topics To Build Your Relationship

Communication brings lovers together and makes it easy for them to build chemistry and love. The conversations you have with your significant other play a strong role in determining how happy, fun and strong your relationship will be.
No matter how difficult some topics may seem sometimes, discussing them will help ease a lot of tension and leave room for your relationship to grow. You’ll also find that you both understand each other better.
Couple arguing. Photo: Owambe
It doesn’t matter whether you are in a new relationship or you’ve been married for years. These topics will not only help you get closer to your lover; it will also give you ideas on what to talk about when it feels like you are running out of topics. And you can always refine and repeat them as you and your partner will always have different answers each time they come up. This way, you’ll never run out of interesting conversations.

1. Plans for the weekend (or a vacation)

It doesn’t matter whether it’s a frustrating Monday evening or Thursday night. Talking about your plans for the weekend and you’ll both have something exciting to look forward to. It will also motivate you to work and get through the week with much enthusiasm. Planning way ahead of time for a vacation or that little getaway also gives you both things to discuss and deliberate on. So plan on!

2. Work

A simple “how did your day go” and an honest answer can lead to a conversation you will both cherish. And there is always something to talk about work. From a weird colleague to a bad boss to the tasks you have to complete, these conversations will help you both understand each other’s professional sides better.

3. Sex

Sexual intimacy is as important as romantic gestures. Talk about what turns you on, the positions or toys you’d like to try, your sexually sensitive spots, your secret fantasies and every other thing related to sex. This will both be exciting and revealing at the same time, and you’ll find yourselves discovering new things about each other. However, this also includes problems in bed. Speak up about them or they will eventually turn around and bite you in the back. If your partner is not performing as expected or your sex drive has reduced drastically, talk about it. Think of or suggest new ways of handling it together and you will be one step towards overcoming these issues.

4. Pay compliments

Tell your partner the things you like about them. Make a habit of appreciating their personality or little things they did the day before, even the ones they didn’t realise that they were doing. Appreciating people encourages them to do more.

5. Worries

What is bothering or worrying you? Simple question, right? But this is something that will make your partner feel loved and cared for. They may have no worries, but the thought that you care will make them cherish being in a relationship with you. Also talk about health issues, whether they are easy to mention.

6. Secrets

Talking about secrets is fun, telling but fun. You can turn it into a game where you each reveal a new dirty, little secret. It will help you get to know each other intimately.

7. Shows and Movies

Well, this always gives you something to talk about. New shows and movies come out every week. Watch one together and talk about it. Laugh at them for crying when Mufasa died while you watched Lion King again.

8. The future and the past

The past may not always be fun and exciting to talk about, but there will surely be hilarious moments to mention, like the times you did silly things as a child or your childhood dreams. You do not need to talk about painful memories like past relationships or go into sexual details. Talk about your plans for the future: the goals you have, your dreams, aspirations and life pursuits. Tell them what you intend to do. This will help the both of you understand each other’s views. Talk about where you see yourselves as a couple in five years. Make goals that will urge you both to work towards strengthening your relationship.

9. Places

Talk about your favourite restaurants, that bukka you just discovered in the next street, a dream location you stumbled across on the internet, places you’d like to visit over the weekend or on special days, or a cool spot you could both sit silently or make out in. It will give you both the chance to explore these places together.

10. Personal interests

What do you truly enjoy doing? Share these thoughts with your partner and see which interests conflict and which ones complement one another. When these interests complement each other, try doing them together as it will bring you closer.

11. Family and friends

Knowing (about) your partner’s friends takes you a step closer to learning more about them. Also, talking about each other’s families provides you with hours and hours of interesting gist. You may have to consciously stop yourselves. This also makes first introductions to family and friends easier and more fun.

12. Opinions and preferences

Never hold your thoughts back from someone you love. Speak up and state your personal opinions. Talk about each other’s likes and dislikes. Preferences and opinions change with time and new information. The more you know about each other’s preferences, the better you know about them.

13. Improvement

Talk about your flaws and the ways you’d like to improve. Releasing your vulnerabilities freely will help your partner relax more around you and they will break down their own walls and talk about theirs too. Offer and receive advice and suggestions on ways you can both improve yourselves.

14. Offer to help

Offer to help your partner with something, regardless of whether it is an easy chore or a hard one. Working together on a task brings you closer together. Plus they will be glad you helped. Talk about ways you can help them around the house with chores and housework.

15. Proud moments

Ask your partner to tell you about the moments in life when they’ve felt really proud of their own achievements. Memorable moments and childhood memories always provide for hours of fun, hilarious conversations.

Women Really Do Prefer Strong Men, Study Finds

Those hours you're spending tossing around weights in the gym, in that CrossFit box or at your home gym really are worth it, both for your longterm health and mental wellbeing (just one hour of exercise a week can prevent depression, according to a recent study). It also doesn't hurt that chicks dig pipes.
Researchers at California State University at Fullerton asked 160 women to look at pictures of shirtless guys (with blurred out heads) and rate them on their perceived strength and attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 7. Sixty of the guys were plucked from the university gym while 130 were enrolled in psychology classes.
According to the study, published in Proceedings of The Royal Society B, the women found strong men the most attractive (surprise, surprise). And it wasn't just iffy. A grand total of zero women preferred the weaker guys.
The researchers told The Washington Post that there are a few factors at play here. First, our culture, especially American culture, puts strong dudes on a pedestal. Second, there's some biological instinctual stuff wired into women's heads that tells them to find the guy that'll fight off encroaching bears, carry disease-resistant genes and lead the tribe.
Granted, we are talking about 20-something college girls here and the research is only in America, which is probably the most weightlifting-obsessed culture on the planet. The researchers are hoping to fix these structural problems to the study by expanding the research to twelve different sites around the globe.
Still, just because women find the guy with veins popping out of his neck attractive, or whatever, it doesn't mean they want to date him. Nor does it mean they can't fall in lovewith you if you can't bench two plates.
So don't work out because you want to attract women. Work out because it's good for you and it attracts women.

IS IT STILL LOVE? | Written by: Oluwayileka Andrew (Space)

When the weeping can't stop
When the smooth face gets rough
Then, we meet like we won't stop
Now, we see and five minutes is enough.

Now that our emotions stooped flowing
Now that the planted love stops growing
Then, our discussion was free flowing
Now, the light has stopped glowing.

When our activities now follows rhythm
And our well being has no meaning
When misunderstanding is the only prize we redeem
And conflict is the only side that's winning.

When the sea is reduced to stream
And the future is out of the dream
When the burning dir Is reduced to a steam
And the shinning star is reduced to a dim.

When the stories we started
Is completed differently from each end
Is it still love that we share?
Or just a tale that will soon end.

ANTHOLOGY OF LOVE I Written by: Oladayo Oke & Arinola Adegbite.

THIRST OF LOVE
Arin
I don't know I can be this bold
Now that we are done
I realized I can be better.
I won't let those memories
Weigh me down.
Ready to put off those light,
Will embrace the darkness
Then I will hold firm to my heart
I won't be moved by your words,
Treat my self to the fullest
I will stop lingering
Broken heart is like a warning.

Oladayo
As soon as you left me,
My world fell apart;
It became hazy
Friends thought I was crazy
They want to know
When the wound would be healed,
But they don't understand
The miseries behind our love.
I'm thirsty of your love
Please let me drink from it.
I don't mind if I swim
Once again in your ocean of love.

 LONG GONE
Oladayo
 Back in the memories
Gone in the past,
I remembered how the wind
That of love blast,
Wiped away all that seems it won't last,
But now I saw you leaving
And running so fast
Away from my abode.

Arin
Where is your pride?
Your ego! You dare not hide.
Panting and ranting
Breathing and wanting
Distance echoed your name
Yet am lame
Tried your lane
Ain't even fit in beneath your grin.

I was broken-hearted
But you never cared.
You ain't interested
Not even in my scars.
Regret in your tears
My silence will crush
And break you apart
Because you chose to leave me in apathy.

Oladayo
Like I used to say
Back in those days;
That there's none like you,
Now it appeared to me
That my words were real.
However, please let's bring up a deal,
And let's make it a seal,
To once again and forever eat the same meal.

 DRAW ME BACK
Oladayo
My heart lingers
For who is it to come
Hoping to come and ginger
That dead soul in me.
For how long will I wait
To taste from the milk of love?
My heart is exposed
To the ill ocean breeze
And my soul is exposed
Luring my spirit to become freeze.

Arin
Due to my ignorance
Endless love tormented my soul.
Let's engage in silence romance
Down beneath my toes.
Yet ain't repulsive
Don't bother to be submissive.
Stop being a pretender
Silent soul murderer
You came, you saw,
And left before dawn.

Oladayo
That was then my story,
But I've come to say sorry.
My days in the city of solitude;
Increases every minute.
Your figure is what I see every time in my dream
And sometimes it makes me want to scream
Because your smile always shines as gleam.
In a nutshell, be my ice cream.
Please come back and ease me of the lonely days;
That dropped me in the malevolent maze.

                                                                                            The End!
